Many thanks for the Cobber. In the hot dry conditions of southern
Iraq (54 degrees Celsius at its worst!) last week it really worked
a treat and despite the incredible constant drying wind, which was
akin to looking into a hair dryer, it remained well hydrated over
the first 3 days. I then soaked it again and it was back to its
full Cumberland sausagey shape. Fantastic.

out walking and hiking for a number of years now and have always
found that it does exactly what it says on the package. As well
as doing a great job keeping my temperature down it’s also
the simplest piece of kit I have ever used when out walking –
just soak it for about 20 minutes put it on and forget it. It will
work all day, and the next day and the day after that, and then
all that’s needed is a short 5 to 10 minute soak and it will
go on working for the next 3 days as well. No batteries, nothing
to go wrong and all you need to make it work is some water; it just
does not come any simpler than the Cobber."
